What Your Customers Get

Every customer gets all of it, at whatever price you set. There are no tiers.

Email, Portal, Client Area and Slack Alerts

Alerts reach the customer by email and in the portal, in the WHMCS client area if you run the module, and in Slack once the customer connects it. Each customer chooses immediate alerts or an hourly, daily or weekly digest.

Allowed Ports

Ports that are meant to be open go on an Allowed Ports list, for one endpoint or account-wide, with a written reason and an optional expiry date. An allowed port raises no alert.

Copy and Paste Fix Commands

Each issue carries commands for the customer's platform, with the choice of closing the port or restricting it to a trusted address. Templates cover UFW, iptables, AWS, GCP and Azure.

Scan History

Every endpoint has a Scan History tab with the 25 most recent scans, what each one found and what changed since the one before. The full history downloads as a CSV.

Issue Timeline

Every issue keeps a timeline of detections, acknowledgments, closures and reopens, with who did what and when.

The Firewall Map

A map of what the internet can reach and which of a customer's servers can reach which, drawn from their own firewall rules and cross-checked against the scan. It comes with endpoint monitoring at no extra price.

API Access

A documented REST API with self-issued keys. The domain-monitoring and firewall-ingest endpoints accept 60 requests per minute per key.

White-Label Branding

Your portal domain, your logo and your colors, with mail sent from your own SMTP server under your own name and reply address.

Set Up in Three Steps

Partner accounts are reviewed before they are activated. After that, the work is installing a free module and deciding what to charge.

Install

Install the free module from the WHMCS Marketplace and paste in the API key from your partner account. The steps are in the docs.

Configure

Create your products in WHMCS and set the retail price you want. Your logo, colors and sending address carry through to everything your customers see.

Sell

Customers buy either product in your storefront. Provisioning happens on purchase, the first scan runs as soon as an endpoint is added, and you are billed wholesale for what is active.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as an endpoint?

One server or IP address that a customer pays to have scanned. A customer adds an IP address or a hostname that resolves; each address is its own endpoint, and CIDR ranges are not accepted. The platform re-resolves a hostname hourly, so an endpoint that moves to a new address keeps being monitored. Nothing is installed on it: the platform scans from the outside, on its own infrastructure.

If I have 20 endpoints, what do I pay?

$30 a month. 20 endpoints at $1.50 each is $30. Domains are priced the same way, so 10 domains would add $15 and the bill would be $45 a month.

How am I billed?

You pay wholesale, $1.50 per endpoint per month and $1.50 per domain per month, in USD. Each endpoint and each domain is pro-rated for the time it was active, so you pay for what is provisioned and running. Your first invoice arrives after your first customer is active. What you charge your own customers, and when you bill them, is yours to decide.

Is there a setup fee, a minimum, or a contract?

None of the three. You pay for the endpoints and domains that are active, month by month, and nothing is owed before your first customer is active.

Do I have to sell both products?

No. Endpoint monitoring and dark web domain monitoring are separate products at $1.50 each per month. Sell either one on its own or both together; you are billed only for what you provision.

Do I have to charge a particular retail price?

No. You set the retail price and keep the difference between it and the $1.50 wholesale rate. There is no suggested retail price, so any retail figure on this site is an example you can change. Sell it on its own or alongside your hosting plans.

What happens above 100 endpoints?

Contact us for a quote. The published rate of $1.50 per endpoint per month covers you up to 100 endpoints. Above that, send us the numbers you expect and we will price it with you.

Are there API limits I should know about?

Yes. The domain-monitoring and firewall-ingest API endpoints accept 60 requests per minute per API key. Keys are self-issued in the portal and shown once. The full API is documented at aegiswhite.com/docs/api/reference/.
